Anastacia Knits ~ Designer Showcase
Anastacia is the inspirational blogger over at Anastacia Knits. She not only designs free crochet patterns, but she also has a nice collection of patterns that she sells. You can find her free patterns on her blog, as well as on her ravelry account. In addition to her patterns, Anastacia enjoys reading and does a lot of book reviews to keep you entertained.
Anastacia crochets for a cause. Alzheimer’s runs in her family, which is why she donates some of her profits to the Alzheimer’s Association. To help her collect the funds, she has designated a few patterns to specifically help her raise the money. These patterns are:
Ruth’s Bracelet. This is a free pattern, but she asks that you donate some money to the Alzheimer’s Association if you enjoyed it.
Three Triangles Shawl. Again, this is a free pattern, but she asks that you make it for charity or to make a small donation.
Around the Twist Log Cabin. This is a knitting pattern. It’s a paid pattern and all profits go to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
Furthermore, every year Anastacia crochets an afghan to be raffled off for Alzheimer’s. This year’s afghan is crocheted in beautiful shades of purple, black and off-white. If you’re interested in winning it, you can find more information on how to get your raffle tickets here.
