Xoloitzcuintli, otherwise known as Mexican hairless dog, is a loyal breed that loves going for long walks but can be very calm indoors. They have a distinctive tuft of long hair on top of the head. Crochet yourself a few of these adorable puppies using worsted weight yarn and a size G hook. The finished Xolo measures approximately 11″ tall by 12″ long (including the tail) and will keep you company for hours.

Materials

  • Worsted weight yarn – 4 oz. MC
    • 10 yards CC
    • 5 yards black
  • Eyelash yarn or fun fur – approximately 10 yards for hair
  • Size G crochet hook
  • Fiberfil
  • Yarn needle
  • 2 safety eyes, 10 mm
  • 1 safety nose, 12 mm
