The Macchiato Messenger Bag is a free crochet crossbody bag pattern designed for adventurous beginners through intermediate crocheters. It is worked in the round using about 200 yards of #4 worsted-weight mercerized cotton yarn and a 4 mm crochet hook. The finished bag measures around 7 inches high by 8½ inches wide and includes an adjustable shoulder strap, magnetic snap closure and fabric lining. You’ll also need a slide buckle, faux leather tag, tapestry needle, thread and sewing needle. The pattern uses basic stitches plus reverse single crochet, with simple color changes and basic hand sewing.
