Octagon Coaster

Crochet coasters are easy and quick projects and a perfect way to use your scrap yarn. They make great year-round small gifts for friends and family. Also, octagon crochet motifs can easily be joined together to create large projects.
The motif in the photos is crocheted with 1.5 mm hook and thread size 10. It measures 11 cm (4.3 inches) in diameter. You can change the look and size of your motif by using different yarn weights and hook sizes.
