Sand Dollar Coasters
This pattern was designed by Kati Brown from Hooked by Kati.

The Sand Dollar Coasters were first published in Happily Hooked Magazine in 2018.
It took a lot of trial and error and many ugly sand dollars to finally arrive at these. The sand dollars on the beach in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico were so awesome and inspiring, I knew I had to make one. And not just one, enough of them to decorate my patio table in the summer months.I had to get really creative with stitches to make the sand dollars come out just right. The textured “petals” are done with front-post dc clusters, followed by a round of treble crochets and a crab stitch border to give it a distinct, finished edge.
