This is a beautiful stitch pattern perfect for afghan squares or anything else you have in mind. Personally, I think it would look lovely if crocheted as a large afghan. The pattern provides the stitch count making it easy for you to adjust the width.
To make this as shown you will need a worsted weight yarn and a 5mm crochet hook.
