Mary is a mother of 3, military wife, pattern designer and full-time blogger at www.craftytuts.com. She creates both crochet patterns and knitting patterns, but loves all kinds of crafts. Mary started to crochet at age 12, but only learned to knit at age 22. Right from the beginning, her crochet teacher showed her how to create garments without following a pattern, and since then she loves to design her own patterns to share with others.
