Haak Maar Raak

I’m Kirsten and I’m the blogger behind haakmaarraak.nl. I’m a happy crocheter, and a very enthusiastic but not quite skilled knitter. I live together with my partner in crime, my cats and yarn collection in an apartment in the busy part of town. I started crocheting in college, looking for something which was portable enough for college halls. After 3 weeks of fighting the needle it all ‘clicked’ and I have not stopped making since.

My favourite projects are large blankets, but I’m also madly in love with shawls, doilies, potholders, pillows, scarves, the occasional amigurumi and other colourful crochet. You can wake me up in the middle of the night for a Caramel frappuccino and a good horror movie along with some late night crochet!
