This free, easy-to-intermediate crochet pattern creates a cute baby turtle applique. Pictured on its back with a visible tummy, this flat turtle features fun, moving arms and easily sews onto any project for a sea creature theme. Written in US terminology, the thoroughly tested pattern includes progress photos and requires knowledge of basic stitches, increases, decreases, the magic ring, and the popcorn stitch. To create the 7.5cm by 11cm applique, you will need a 4mm hook, 29 yards of worsted weight yarn, 12mm safety eyes, black tapestry thread, a needle, and scissors.
