Easter Chick Appliqué

This Easter chick applique is only 12cm, but still has a lot of cute details worked into the pattern.

The crochet chick appliqué measures 11cm wide by 12cm tall. I made my chick in traditional yellow and orange. The Easter chicks head, body, wings, eyes, cheeks and feet are made in separate pieces giving the applique a more of a 3D effect. He has cute little facial features and a tuft of hair to add character. You can use your crochet Easter chick appliqué to brighten up almost any of your crochet projects. Chicks are not just popular for Easter creations but can be used all year round too.
