Applique Basket and Edgings Pattern

This vintage pattern is made available by Free Vintage Crochet.

A pretty basket applique for your bathroom towels, kitchen towels or pillowcases. I can also picture the applique sewn into a tablecloth designed for picnic tables, or even on the kitchen table. Personally, I would attach them along the sides or at the corners for some pretty summer fun.

In addition to the applique, the pattern comes with a nice edging to make the set complete.

It may be a vintage pattern, but it’s one of those patterns that will never go out of style. So even though a lot of work goes into it, you can rest assured that it will be treasured for many generations to come.

To crochet this, you will need mercerized crochet cotton thread and a No. 7 steel hook.
