Have you ever seen a cashew tree? The shape of cashews can sometimes be likened to a small, curved figure, which might evoke the playful notion that they resemble little men. With their distinctive kidney shape and the way the nut curves at one end, some people find the resemblance to a gnome amusing. I recently came across an article on growing cashews, and couldn’t resist making a crocheted version of this adorable nut.

Whether you love cashews or just enjoy unique shapes, now you can crochet your own cashew ornaments for your holiday decor.
