Give your coffee break a little handmade personality with the Coffee Break Mosaic Mug Rug.
This easy overlay mosaic crochet pattern uses two contrasting colours to create a modern coffee-cup motif with crisp colourwork and plenty of texture. Tassels along both sides complete the design and incorporate the cut yarn ends, leaving you with no ends to weave in.
The mug rug is worked flat from the bottom up with the right side facing throughout. You’ll use only one colour in each row, so there is no need to carry two colours across the row.
Finished Size: Approximately 5.75 inches wide by 5 inches tall

- WeCrochet Dishie or another worsted-weight cotton yarn
- Colour A: Approximately 19 yards/18 metres
- Colour B: Approximately 44 yards/41 metres
- G/4.0 mm crochet hook
- Tapestry needle
- Scissors
- Optional stitch marker
