It’s amazing how simple lace squares joined together can make such a complex looking design. Update and refresh your home with just a little bit of yarn, hook and this delicate lace crochet square motif pattern.

Create 9 squares to form a front pillow cover or go for an all over lace and cover both sides, it’s up to you. The lovely motifs would also make a beautiful lace blanket or shawl too don’t you think?

Finished Size: To fit a 30cm by 30cm cushion pad.

Materials

  • To make the lace cushion I used Drops Baby Alpaca Silk yarn.
  • It’s a beautifully delicate 4ply/fingering weight yarn that is 30% silk, 70% alpaca, 167m/50g.
  • A 2.5mm crochet hook.
  • 30cm square cushion pad.
