Easy Crochet Mesh Stitch

This Easy Crochet Mesh Stitch is a great stitch to use if you’re looking for a crochet stitch to make a crop top or some other open work crochet pattern like a bathing suit cover or summer poncho. This pattern looks like plus signs or spider depending on where you look on the pattern. It’s a very open work crochet stitch that crochets up very quickly with a 4 row repeat.

Gauge: 4 sts = 1 inch / 2.5 cms

Materials

• HOOK: Any size but I used 5 mm hook or size H hook for the US
• YARN: Any size but I used worsted weight yarn, 4 ply US, 10 ply AU
