Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day! These Lass & Lad beanies are easier to make than they look. You crochet a simple beanie, changing colors for the black belt, and then add the braids or the beard. You could even make the hat without the braids or beard and you would still have a great St. Patty’s Day hat. This is such a fun pattern. My kids were very excited to model the hats for me. I hope you like it!

Finished Sizes: toddler, child & adult

Materials

  • Yarn: worsted weight (#4). I used Red Heart Super Saver in:
    • Black,
    • Paddy Green,
    • Pumpkin
    • Gold
  • Hooks:
    • I 5.5mm crochet hook for hat or hook needed to obtain gauge
    • H 5mm crochet hook for beard & buckles
  • Tapestry needle
  • Locking stitch markers
  • Scissors

Skill Level: Easy
