• worsted weight yarn (#4)  Two strands of medium weight yarn held together. I used Red Heart Super Saver in the combinations Minty & Turqua, Bright yellow & Pale yellow, and Pretty N pink & Baby pink.
• tapestry needle/ yarn needle
• stitch markers (optional)
