I love this wavy crochet pattern that’s deceptively easy to create! The “Little Waves Washcloth” requires just basic crochet stitches – single crochet, half-double crochet, and double crochet – to create a gorgeous crochet ripple pattern.

This pattern is written for two sizes: a lovely washcloth and a versatile tea towel. Customization instructions for using the stitch pattern to make any size that you like is also included in the pattern.

This wave stitch pattern really shines when worked in 2 or more contrasting colors. You will change color You will change color every 2 rows, “floating” the new color up the side of your work as you go.

This technique is great because it means that you won’t have a million ends to weave in! For a polished finish, you can opt to work over these “floats” with a single crochet border, just as I did with my washcloth.
