Outside In Purse

The Outside In Purse is crocheted out of two rectangles, both made from the outside in. They’re joined as they’re made and the centers are seamed with a decorative cross stitch. I’ve used quite a few colors to create my little masterpiece, and it makes me oh-so-happy! The strap is reinforced with strapping on the inside so it won’t grow as the purse is filled up. I know my bags tend to get rather heavy, so this is a great trick!

Measurements

• Finished Size: 10″ wide, 11″ tall, 3.5″ wide
• Gauge: 5 sts x 5 rows = 4” [10 cm] in mhdc (see special stitches)

• Yarn: Knit Picks Galileo
• Hook: US – 4 / E, 3.5 mm

Other supplies:

• 4 removable stitch markers
• Yarn needle
• Black strapping 1″ wide x 50″ long
• Sewing needle
• Dark green sewing thread
