Party Hat

This hat pattern is worked up in regular crochet stitches, and then the 2021 graph is appliqued. Thus, this hat is also great for birthdays and other fun events.

2020 sure has been a crazy year. I think most people are ready for it to be over! I wanted to design a fun & unique pointy Party Hat for you guys to ring in the New Year.

This hat is perfect to use as a New Years Eve hat. And you can customize to your taste! If you don’t want to make the corner to corner *c2c) graph, just skip it! Change the colors of the pom pom or curls, or skip, add more! Have fun with it.

Materials

• H 5mm crochet hook or hook needed to obtain gauge for hat
• E 3.5mm crochet hook for c2c graph
• yarn: worsted weight (#4) in black, white, red, yellow, green and blue
• tapestry needle
• scissors
• large pom pom maker
• hot melt adhesive
