Sideways Beanie – Starfish Crochet Stitch

This pattern is crocheted in rows and the size is judged by wrapping the hat around the head, so a TIP is to not to stop crocheting the piece until it fits around the head and still doesn’t stretch out the design of the hat to much. Once it does, sew it up.

Finished Sizes: Measurements are given for child and adult sizes, but can easily by adjusted for everyone from baby to adult large.

Materials

• HOOK: 5 mm hook or size H hook for the US
• YARN: two colors skeins of worsted weight yarn, 4 ply US, 10 ply AU, 100 grams / 3.5. oz, 240 meters / 262 yards
• Tapestry Needle
• Pom Pom Maker
• A Marker – This can be a piece of yarn, but is important to hold your piece together later.
