This week I sat down and made a Sunflower granny square in honor of the Ukranian flag, and to honor all Ukranians in their struggle for freedom right now.

Crochet a few and stitch them in a row for a bright Sunflower scarf. Double up some cotton worsted yarn to make some Sunflower potholders for your kitchen. Brighten up your living room with a Sunflower Afghan. Oh, so many possibilities!

Finished Size: 6″ square

Materials:

  • Worsted weight yarn:
    • 30 yards blue
    • 10 yards yellow
    • 10 yards gold
  • Size I (5.5 mm) crochet hook

Skill Level: Easy
