This afghan square features the easy, Tunisian Simple Stitch, which is a great stitch pattern for beginners to advanced. With 12 sizes included from 4″ up to 27″, the project possibilities are endless – for example, sew a bunch to create and afghan, or make 2 and sew together for a throw pillow. Video tutorial also included. I’ve used Red Heart Super Saver Yarn. Similar yarns include Caron One Pound and Bernat Super Value. Gauge is only essential if the finished size is.

Finished Sizes: 4″, 6″, 8″, 10″, 12″, 14″, 16″, 18″, 20″, 22″, 24″, and 27″.

Materials

  • 15 (30, 50, 80, 115, 155, 200, 250, 310, 370, 440, 560) Yards of Yarn – I used Red Heart Super Saver in the Aran Fleck colorway,
  • J10/6mm Tunisian Crochet Hook,
