This photo tutorial shows how to create this lovely lace from start to finish. It’s also available in written form at the end of the tutorial. The pattern is for an 8″ afghan block.

The stitch would be gorgeous in blankets, hats and cowls, crocheted tops, handbags and lots more!

I’d imagine you can use this stitch with any yarn that you like, but the above sample was crocheted with Lily Sugar n Cream and an I crochet hook.
