Christmas Ornament Tapestry Crochet Pillow and Wall Hanging

A wine red Christmas ornament with a cream band of diamonds on a deep green background. Make it as a 16 inch pillow, or as a small wall hanging from one ball of each color. The free pattern has a color chart for each size, every row written out color by color, and printable pages.

Finished Sizes:

• Pillow: 16 x 16 in (40 x 40 cm), 64 x 74 stitches.
• Small wall hanging: 10 x 8.5 in (25.5 x 21.5 cm), 56 x 55 stitches.

Materials

• Pillow:
  • worsted weight yarn (medium, 4) in 4 colors (dark green, wine red, cream, dark gray), about 425 yd (390 m) in all;
  • 4 mm (US G-6) or 4.5 mm (US 7) hook;
  • 16 in pillow insert.
• Small wall hanging:
  • sport or DK yarn, one 50 g ball of each color;
  • 3 mm hook.
  • Yarn needle.
