There are lots of great charities organizations plus the hospitals themselves that would love to receive some adorable little hats for their guests. Some even have special themes or colors for certain times of the year to spread holiday cheer or awareness.
These little Chunky-Like Preemie Baby Hats are designed as a simple baby beanie. The pattern is available in the four preemie sizes. Taking less than one skein of yarn and less than an hour and a half, consider working up a set with yarn from your stash, and sending into a respective organization or your local baby hospital. Remember to use a soft acrylic or cotton yarn – not wool – that you know will withstand lots of wear and washing.
