This beanie uses the gorgeous star stitch and is worked from the top down using US terms. You’ll need 4.5mm and 5mm (G) hooks and about 145–200 yards of worsted weight yarn, depending on the size. Speaking of sizes – it comes in 6 options: preemie, infant, toddler, child, teen, and adult! The gauge is 11 rows and 7 star stitches = 4” square (measured on the finished hat). It’s best for intermediate crocheters.
