Grace Tinley Beanie
By Alexandra of EyeLoveKnots.
This granny square beanie crochet pattern can be worked in any solid color or in pretty stripes. The granny stitch is great that way, as you can use up all kinds of leftover yarns.
The image below shows the granny square baby hat in a gender-neutral color. It’s cute and perfect for a baby boy, but might also work for older boys and even men. It’s all about yarn colors and personal preference.
This is an easy crochet pattern worked in the classic and simple granny stitch pattern. 7 sizes included from Newborn through Adult Large.

Materials:
You’ll need a H8/5mm crochet hook, and some worsted weight yarn. I used WeCrochet Swish yarn for mine. Lion Brand Wool Ease and Berroco Vintage are similar yarns, but if you need wool-free, try Red Heart Soft or Lion Brand Heartland. If you are a tight crocheter, I recommend working the first half in an H8/5mm crochet hook, and the second half in a I9/5.5mm crochet hook so there is no restriction in the final beanie.
