This cute little pumpkin is modeled on a hat here, however; there are many other uses such as in a bunting or on your kitchen linens. If you do a lot of scrapbooking or cardmaking, it could be used for those activities as well.
The pattern calls for a worsted weight yarn and a G crochet hook.
