By Caitlin Jenkins from Caitlin’s Contagious Creations.

An intermediate level pattern using double and treble crochet stitches, post stitches, and crossed stitches to create a beautiful cable design. This design is lovely in self-striping yarn or solid color yarn. The Knotted Cable Scarf is a great unisex winter accessory. It is thick and warm with a beautiful textured pattern for visual interest.

The pattern features written directions with photos to make this winter scarf. The pattern calls for worsted weight, size 4 yarn and an I9/ 5.5 mm hook. For this intermediate level pattern, you should know how to complete double and treble crochet stitches and post stitches. You will need to create crossed stitches to work the cable pattern. I provide a quick tutorial for this in the pattern.
