Perfect Scrap Yarn Crochet Stitch
Tutorial by Candy Lifshes from Meladora’s Creations.
Not only is this the perfect scrap yarn stitch, but it’s also the perfect stitch for many crochet projects from blankets to mats, scarves and shawls. The pattern provides a stitch multiple so you can easily adjust the size to what you need.

Do you have a lot of scrap yarn that you’ve been wanting to use for a project but couldn’t find that perfect crochet stitch for it? Well look no further! The way this stitch blends the rows, it’s hard to see where one color begins and the other ends, so having to change color mid row won’t change the over all look at all! Actually, the more color the better. Then only thing to watch out for is blending two colors that are two close together.
I recommend, if you’re like me and have a ton of scrap yarn, just lay out a color pattern of about 8 to 10 colors, then crochet them up, then go back to your stash and lay out another 8 to 10 colors that will make good color changes.
