Popcorns and V-Stitch Square

Crochet this 12 inch afghan square in a solid color as shown or add a few stripes to clean up your yarn stash. Either way this square is going to look great in by itself in an afghan or combine it with other squares for a neat sampler afghan.

Popcorn stitches, v-stitches, and single crochet stitches worked into the back loop only add lots of texture to this 12” (30.5 cm) square.

Finished Size: 12″ (30.5 cm) square.

Materials

• Lion Brand Heartland yarn (Solids: 100% acrylic, 5 oz/142 g, 251 yd/230 m; Tweeds: 94% acrylic/6% rayon, 4 oz/113 g, 200 yd/183 m).
• US Size I-9/5.5 mm crochet hook, or size that matches gauge or you prefer using with medium weight yarn.
• Yarn needle.
