Star Stitch Washcloth
Design by Sarah Ruane from Ned and Mimi.
This free dish cloth pattern, will teach you how to crochet the Star Stitch (also known as the Marguerite Stitch) – a beautiful and striking stitch pattern that is deceptively simple once you get the hang of it!
The written pattern comes with a step-by-step video tutorial to help you master this gorgeous stitch pattern quickly and easily.
A little experimentation with this stitch pattern was made, by alternating each “star stitch” row with a moss stitch (aka linen or seed stitch) row. The effect creates a seamless blend of stars together, while keeping a good drape in the fabric.
