Light Weight Beanie

The Light Weight Beanie by Lovable Loops is available in toddler, child and adult sizes.

After having designed basic beanies using worsted weight, bulky weight and super bulky weight yarns, I decided it was time to design a hat using light weight yarn. The pattern is worked in rounds of double crochet (dc) from the top down. It’s super simple and works up quickly. I hope you like it!

Finished Sizes: toddler, child & adult

Materials

• Crochet hook: G 4mm or hook needed to obtain gauge.
• Yarn: light weight (#3). I used Lion Brand’s Mandala Baby yarn in Narnia.
• Tapestry needle
• Locking stitch markers
• Scissors
• Large Pom Pom maker
• Hot melt adhesive
