Light a fire under your cold weather accessories with the textured, pom pom embellished Charlie Hat.

Measurements

• Finished Sizes
  Photographed sample is Teen/Adult. Height measurements do not include pom pom.
  • Newborn: 12.5” (32 cm) hat circumference x 5” (13 cm) height.
  • Infant: 15.75” (40 cm) hat circumference x 6” (15 cm) height.
  • Child: 18.75” (47.5 cm) hat circumference x 7” (18 cm) height.
  • Teen/Adult: 22” (56 cm) hat circumference x 8” (20.5 cm) height.
• Gauge: Through Rnd 4 = 4” (10 cm) in pattern. For best fit, always check your gauge.

Skills Used

• Basic crochet stitches: chain, double crochet, single crochet, slip stitch, treble crochet
• Crocheting in the round
• Special stitches: dc2tog and FPdc (with written instructions and linked video tutorials in pattern)

Materials

• Lion Brand Scarfie yarn (78% acrylic/22% wool, 5.3 oz/150 g/312 yd/285 m) – 1 skein in 205 Cranberry Black, or approximately 225 yd (206 m) in any bulky weight yarn.
• US Size K-10.5/6.5 mm crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge.
• Yarn needle.
• Clover Pom Pom Maker – small for newborn and infant sizes or extra large for child and adult/teen sizes (optional).
