The Coastal Sun Crochet Beach Tote Bag is a fast and fun project. Create this easy tote bag for everyday use or even for a beach day. Create stripes using your scrap yarn or crochet it in solid colors.

This beginner friendly crochet beach tote is worked bottom up, in the round with 100% cotton yarn. Although, acrylic yarn is suitable as well. These bags make great gifts that are beautiful and useful!

The Coastal Sun Tote makes for a fabulous scrappy project. With different stitches in repeated sections it’s easy to change colors. I love the combination of teal and yellow in this one, with a little bit of the print thrown in at the transitions.

Finished Size: 12.5” tall, 30” with strap. Bag laid flat 12.5” wide.

Materials

• 6oz #4 med worsted weight yarn, I used less than 2 balls of Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Cotton in Deep Turquoise (Color A), Curry (Color C) and some scraps of Paris in June (Color B).
• 6mm (J) hook, Yarn needle, Measuring tape, Scissors
