This beginner-friendly crochet scarf pattern is worked up in the front loops only to give you a simple, yet pretty, ribbed texture! It is given in one size, but can be adjusted as needed to any size from child to adult.

As for the yarn, I used Bernat Premium, which is a medium weight acrylic yarn. It works well with a 5 mm crochet hook, but any yarn and hook size can be used.

Measurements

  • Gauge: 16 sts = 4″.
  • Finished Size: Without an edging it measures 7.5″ wide by 60″ long.

Materials:

  • Yarn: Bernat Premium (Worsted Weight, #4; 100% Acrylic; 7oz/198g; 360yds/329m) Color: Grape Soda, 1 ball without an edging. Two balls with an edging.
  • Crochet Hook: H/8-5.00mm
