Materials

  • Yarn: Light #3 yarn – about 5oz.
  • Crochet Hook: G 4.00mm
  • Other: Measuring Tape, Scissors, Yarn Needle.

Measurements

6.5″ wide by 69″ long.

  • Ch/Chs = Chain/Chains
  • FO = Fasten Off
  • Rep = Repeat
  • Sc = Single Crochet
  • Sk = Skip
  • Sl St = Slip Stitch
  • Sp/Sps = Space/Spaces
  • Sp-St = Spider Stitch
  • St/Sts = Stitch/Stitches

Special Stitch Instructions

Spider Stitch (sp-st): (Sc, ch 1, sc) into designated st or sp.

Lightweight Crochet Scarf Pattern Instructions

Ch 32, or any multiple of 4. 

Row 1: Working into back bumps, sc in 2nd ch from hook and into each ch across. Turn. [31 sts]

Row 2: Ch 1, (sc, ch 2) in first st, sk next 2 sts, (sp-st, ch 2) in next st; *sk next 3 sts, (sp-st, ch 2) in next st; rep from * across to last 3 sts, sk next 2 sts, sc in last st. Turn. [7 sp-sts]

Row 3: Ch 1, (sc, ch 2) in first st, (sp-st, ch 2) in ch-1 sp of next sp-st and into each sp-st across; sc in last st. [7 sp-sts]

Rows 4-300: Rep Row 3.

Row 301: Ch 1, sc in first st, sc in next 2 chs, *sc in next sc, sk ch-1 of sp-st, sc in next sc, sc in next 2 chs; rep from * across to last st; sc in last st. FO.
