Moon & Star Appliqués

This quick crochet pattern will help you create moon and star appliqués. The appliqués can be sewn onto almost any of your crochet creations to make them look pretty.

The pattern is written in USA terminology. You will need to know basic crochet stitches (sc, hdc, dc, tr). You will also need to know how to work into a magic ring.

Finished Sizes: The appliqué moon measures 5.5cm x 3.5cm and the stars measure 3.5cm.

Materials

• DK (weight 3) yarn. I used ‘King Cole Pricewise DK’
  • Yellow – 6m / 7yd
  • Blue – 8m / 9yd
• Supplies you will need
  • Crochet hook 4mm
  • Tapestry needle
  • Scissors
