The Spiral Star Basket Weave Beanie is a closed top hat pattern for beginners+. It is made using front and back post double crochet stitches to create a thick and warm texture with a basket weave design.

The subtle spiraling star on top of the hat is elegant and lends to the thick texture of this winter cap.

Finished Size: Adult – One Size Fits Most

Materials
The pattern calls for 230 yds of worsted weight yarn and a size H8 hook. I have used red heart super saver yarn for this pattern, but any worsted weight yarn that makes the gauge will allow you to achieve similar results.

Skill Level: Easy
