The granny stitch is a classic! And this scarf is a cool weather must! The scarf works up fairly quickly, and uses just over two skeins (give or take depending on the yardage), making this a scarf one you can work up in several colors to match your outfit, or for gift giving.

The neat thing about this scarf, is that it’s worked in two pieces, and sewn together so the pattern is the same on both sides, rather than right side up on one, and upside down on the other. It’s finished off with a fun, modern fringe, but you could also attach some pom poms across or at the corners, or leave off altogether.

Speaking of colors… This would be a fun scarf to work on side in one color, and the other in a coordinating color, like your team colors, or Mustard Yellow and Teal for Fall, Green and Red for Christmas or White and Aqua for Winter – just to name a few options!

Materials Needed:

  • Worsted Weight Yarn (Berroco’s Vintage Yarn used in the Original)
  • I9/5.5mm Crochet Hook
