Windmill Granny Square

Here is a variation of the granny square. The open stitches in the center resemble a windmill, making this perfect for a summery blanket. It would make for a great gift for anyone who either lives on or was raised on a farm.

The finished size is 6.75″ square.

You will need a worsted weight yarn and an I crochet hook.
