Classic Granny with a Twist Blanket

Here is a twist on the classic granny square that is quick to do and easy to make. The on point assembly makes this look much more complicated than it is so do not be intimidated. This pattern is great for a beginner and lets you learn motifs and joining while making a wonderful blanket for yourself or someone else!
Finished Size: Baby Blanket/Throw: Approximately 39.5″ (100 cm) square.
Materials Needed:
- Red Heart With Love yarn, a medium weight yarn.
- US Size I-9/5.5 mm crochet hook.
- Yarn needle.
- Stitch markers
