Granny Square Christmas Stocking Ornament

This adorable Christmas stocking ornament is crocheted with a granny motif. The different greens between the two ornaments adds a nice touch. Which in fact, I think would look beautiful with a whole bunch of those stocking ornaments hung around the tree.
Another use would be as a cute candy holder for gifting candy canes and other candy to the young ones.
It’s quick and easy to whip up using leftover yarns from other projects.
You will need a DK weight yarn in three colors and a 4.5mm crochet hook.
