Star Shape Filet Square

This 7-inch crochet afghan square features a star worked up in the filet crochet technique. Stars are great for anything baby, but can be used for just about anything else as well.

A quick pattern for a solid filet crochet pattern with a star made in the middle. My easy pattern features written directions, pictures, and stitch symbol chart to help you create this granny like square perfect for shawls, blankets, coasters, a washcloths. It is one of six shapes for my Shapes N Blocks Baby Blanket.

Finished Size: 7.5″ x 7″ square

Materials

This pattern calls for lightweight dk yarn and a size G6 crochet hook, but you can use whatever yarn and hook combo you like, just remember that the size of your square will change based on what you choose.

Skill Level: Beginner
