Square Shaped Filet Square

This simple solid filet square crochet pattern has an easy to make square shape in the center of it. The pattern is done with double crochet stitches and chain stitches. This granny like square pattern is perfect for shawls, blankets, dishcloths, and coasters!! The pattern directions feature written instructions, photos, and a crochet stitch symbol chart.

Finished Size: 7.5″ x 7″ square

This pattern was written for dk lightweight yarn and size G6 crochet hook, but you can use whatever size yarn and hook you like. Remember that if you use a smaller or larger yarn and hook, your square will also be smaller or larger than the dimensions I provide.
