Belinda the Caticorn

This low-sew softie is a combination of a friendly cat and a mythical unicorn with a colorful horn and a braided tail. At about 12” (30.5 cm) tall, this caticorn is also a huggable friend. Pattern includes optional 5-petal flower and Hair for additional embellishment.
Finished Size: Approximately 12” (30.5 cm) tail (excluding horn) after stuffing.

Materials
- Plymouth Encore Worsted yarn (75% acrylic/25% wool, 3 oz/100 g, 200 yd/183 m) – 2 skeins in 194 Medium Gray (CA), or approximately 325 yd (297 m) in any medium weight acrylic or acrylic blend yarn.
- Plymouth Encore Colorspun Worsted yarn (75% acrylic/25% wool, 3 oz/100 g, 200 yd/183 m) – 1 skein in 7203 Spectrum Spray (CB), or approximately 50 yd (45.5 m) in any medium weight acrylic or acrylic blend yarn.
- Tulip Etimo US Size F-5/3.75 mm crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge.
- Locking stitch markers.
- Yarn needle.
- Fairfield Poly-Fil Premium Polyester Fiber Fill – 16 oz. bag.
- 12 mm cat safety eyes – 1 pair.
- 21 mm safety nose – 1 piece.
Gauge: Through Round 10 in pattern for Head = 4” (10 cm) diameter. Exact gauge is not critical for this pattern. Stitches should be tight so that fiber filling doesn’t show through.
